In May 2024, I photographed Lee and Leandro's stylish wedding in Tuscany. The couple celebrated intimately at the historic Villa Medicea di Liliano, just a few kilometers from Florence. With its elegant architecture, olive trees, and sweeping views across the Tuscan hills, the venue provided the perfect backdrop for their special day.
Lee consciously took her time that day to savor the special moments before the ceremony. Her look was modern and elegant – perfectly suited to the historic setting. Despite the rain, Lee and Leandro stuck to their planned outdoor wedding – and it was well worth it. The guests sat under umbrellas, the atmosphere was intimate and emotional. The light rain wasn't disruptive, but rather added to the romantic ambiance. Atmospheric photos were taken among the cypress trees and ancient walls, even during the photo shoot. The changeable weather lent the entire atmosphere a very special depth.
After the wedding ceremony, a beautifully set table awaited the guests in the villa's courtyard. Natural colors, linen napkins, and seasonal flowers – elegant, but not overdone. In the evening, after a traditional Italian cake, the celebrations continued with great enthusiasm.
